Finding The Perfect Sports For My Personality

I have always loved to get outside and enjoy a little fresh air, which is probably one of the reasons I was drawn to recreation and sports in the first place. However, I quickly realized that there were a few different things that made me a great candidate to play sports, so I started talking with different teams about joining up. After I joined a community kickball league, I really became close to some of my friends that played with me. This blog is all about finding the perfect kind of sport for your personality, so that you can feel great and stay active.

How Fancy Does Your Storage Spot Have To Be?

Seeking out RV storage facilities well before you need to put your rig away for a while is very helpful. But it also leads you to many facilities that offer different levels of storage. Some are very basic, while others border on full-service luxury. The more services a facility offers, the more the storage will cost, but that extra spending may be worth it, if the features you're getting will help make storing the rig easier.

Weather Protection

You can find very basic storage facilities that give you an outdoor spot on a gravel lot. However, that doesn't offer your vehicle a lot of protection from the elements. Rain can make the gravel lot harder to maneuver through as water seeps below the gravel layer, creating mud that lets your vehicle's tires sink down. Severe cold or heat can make the exterior of your vehicle deteriorate more quickly. Even balmy coastal storage locations have weather issues, from salty air to humidity gradually breaking down your vehicle's body.

If you want more protection from the weather and environment, look for facilities that have at least paved lots with excellent drainage; indoor storage is even better. For the best protection, look for indoor storage with climate control. Your rig will avoid the ravages of intense summer heat and bitter winter cold.

Practical Services

For many RVers, driving the rig around the country can be a lot of fun, but driving it around a city looking for different maintenance services can be a pain. Many storage facilities offer practical services like dump stations and battery charging stations to help RVers get their vehicles ready for storage and ready for the road. While that type of facility might cost more, you could very well spend the same amount of money in gas, driving all over the place to take care of these services.

Security Features

Don't forget security features. At a minimum the storage facility should have a locked gate and an alarm/monitoring system. Many have residential managers and live camera monitoring, and others have 24/7 staff. Indoor storage should have additional locked doors. RVs are handy targets for thieves and vandals because the vehicle's size indicates there might be valuables inside, or at least a lot of valuable parts. You want to protect your RV from any nonsense.

Price comparisons serve you well in most cases, but for RV storage, sometimes you want to pay more for better amenities. Find a place where you can be confident that your RV will be safe, such as Drydock Depot RV Boat Storage.
